zevran arainai {DRAGON AGE} It started out so well with Zevran after a chance meeting in the Hinterlands on her way to Skyhold with Kieran. Zevran was a blade between her son and harm; that he cared for the boy was a bonus (that he cared because he's Alistair's son is misguided, he is Morrigan's son, but that came later.) They got on well at Skyhold, and she trusted him, counted him as a friend. Then she learned that he knew the truth about Anders being present and lost it; there are Wardens from Weisshaupt present in Skyhold, Wardens who question why the Hero, Alistair, and Loghain all live, Kieran carries the soul of and Old God within him (and how different is that to an abomination?) and Corypheus is a threat they are trying to learn more of. How difficult would it be for them to think her son a danger? Had it been left at Morrigan telling him to stay away, he might already be stepping back into her good graces, but no, he chose to argue, and brought up things that hurt including Wynne for some reason so he is very much still on her shitlist. After more misunderstandings because Leliana was hurting, and Morrigan is bad at emotions, they've started patching things up (she took his advice on a line to use, it worked.) Since Zevran had his son brought to Skyhold, she does have advice to offer because she understands being so horribly ill-equipped for such a situation.	alistair theirin {DRAGON AGE} So at first Alistair kind of just lurked? Like a big creeper. No really, he just watched Morrigan and Kieran, which was weird but that's Alistair for you, then he eventually talked and it was very touching, very painful, they made some sort of tentative plans. Then the Wardens told him they had Anders and Leliana told Morrigan that the Wardens had Anders; there was a lot of fallout and Morrigan banned him from seeing or coming near Kieran. Unlike Zevran he didn't argue. But then Kieran snuck off to shame him with a toy griffon he made for him so Alistair approached Morrigan and sort of said 'hey, maybe you don't have to do this alone' and Morrigan was...well Morrigan. But she did say he could see him which is far more than Zevran got so growing. Adulting. Morrigan and Alistair are actually...getting along. Alistair comes to see Morrigan under the guise of them working together (which sometimes happens, shockingly) but more often than not he's spending time with Kieran. Or he and Kieran go to play, away from the Wardens. Morrigan also knows the truth about his mother and she doesn't really know what to do with it because how is your family worse than hers Alistair?
merrill {DRAGON AGE} A former first to a Dalish clan, she is exactly what Morrigan needs, especially when she knows of eluvians. A bit distracted perhaps but she's much less prickly than Morrigan was expecting and that can only to her advantage. Merrill has since proven to be someone she can work with, discussing potential exchanges for dragon's blood (for a research project Morrigan and Leliana are working on) as well accompanying her to retrieve Morrigan's eluvian when it fell into Venatori hands.	bruce banner {MCU} A mild-mannered man, he was good enough to tell her more of the abomination attack in Skyhold. He has fair and balanced opinions, both rare in a time such as this.

twisted fate {LEAGUE OF LEGENDS} Absolutely not your typical Dalish and she actually loves that about him. He has a good sense of humour, a different way of looking at things and much less of the isolationist attitude. A friend, if she is to have such a thing here. The first one she taught shapeshifting to in Skyhold, and one she has been more honesty with, and he with her. The story of Fen'harel's Teeth has been confided to her as has some of his past, though what she truly believes is another story.	cade harimann {DRAGON AGE} A Templar that dared to approach her, she stared him down and nothing has come of it since, though the stories of what he has done to Beleth Ashara have not escaped her notice. One to keep a close eye on.
pel ashara {DRAGON AGE} Former FIrst to Clan Ashara, as well as a former member of Skyhold's mage council, Morrigan and Pel conduct research together. At first they worked mainly on the Veilfire runes recovered from the Fallow Mire but also on the artifact recovered from the Hinterlands, and likely the discoveries from the Temple of Dirthamen. More prickly than Ellana, and without her ties to the council not just as useful in Morrigan's opinion, but still one she will keep close while it suits her. Pel has since updated her on the Temple of Dirthamen, and they have also undertaken a mission ot Cadash Thaig in search of the Lights of Arlathan.	adelaide leblanc {DRAGON AGE} A former member of the White Spire and a healer working with a spirit of Compassion, sensible though her ties to the mage council count against her in Morrigan's opinion. One of her apprentices Henri is good friends with Kieran. They will always disagree on the matter of Circles, and likely on how much mages should answer to the Inquisition, though she's interested in hearing about her research on the rifters and shards, since that might overlap with Morrigan's own work. There will always be tension; Morrigan will never see the Council as anything but a Circle by another name, and Adelaide well, she's a Councilor there, and they are so very determined to say they're not a Circle. (But there is always Vivienne there too.)

leonard l. church {RED VS BLUE} The first rifter Morrigan met, she explained Thedosian history and attitudes to him, he has a strange way of speaking (well to her) but she'll seek him out again once she puts together more about the mark on his hand and her own research.	ellana ashara {DRAGON AGE} Hearth mistress of Clan Ashara, they spoke of what she had learned in her role because all information is valuable, how can so few see that? Morrigan advised her to walk tall and to remember that a word can only be a blade if you allow it to be. She has since found herself taking a greater interest in Ellana, another one who wishes to leave her clan, a potential shapeshifter too; this has culminated in a birthday gift to her. Morrigan remembers what it is to walk away and to walk alone, and she would not see her do it unarmed. Ellana studied shapeshifting under Morrigan, attaining the sparrow form first and they flew together; she was proud and reminded Ellana that this was always within her. Morrigan and Ellana did have a setback after the eluvian when Morrigan, angry about the rumours plaguing her constantly snapped at Ellana for repeating them to her face. (Morrigan listens to all rumours, but she is careful about when and where and how she chooses to repeat them.) But she did lend Ellana a journal of sketches of ruins and statues, in hopes it might help her find her own path with her research when the library books are all utterly biased.
beleth ashara {DRAGON AGE} Now this is the kind of Dalish she expected to meet: prickly, a hunter, Beleth took exception to Morrigan mentioning Andruil and sacrifice. Still, she's Dalish, she knows their stories and their ways but not the first she'd seek out unless she wanted a headache. Morrigan has had chances the Dalish have not and will not have to gain access to whatever she needs through Empress Celene's patronage. When Beleth joined her on the journey to rescue the eluvian, she did little to endear herself by shouting about it when they couldn't have known for sure if the Venatori knew what they were in possession of. Someone to be watched closely, and someone Morrigan is unlikely to share anything with in the future.	anders {DRAGON AGE} Introduced himself as Detlef, flippant, quite frankly an idiot, but interested in shapeshifting. Leliana then revealed he was Anders, and as far as Morrigan is concerned he is an abomination, nothing more, a thing far better off dead. A pity the Wardens are too stupid to see that.

leliana {DRAGON AGE} One day Morrigan is going to reintroduce Leliana to the concept of personhood, to stepping out of what another has planned for you to make your own life. No longer the Little Deceiver or that annoying girl from the FIfth Blight, Morrigan doesn't know how their lives moved in such different directions, and so most of their conversation are them poking and prodding, trying to find the sore spots. But then there is an unexpected bond, not only through shared past experiences but through working together to make something better, something more; they have shared projects, and Morrigan updates Leliana on her research, strangely honest in a way she perhaps only can be with Leliana. This even extends to teasing and dancing at Vivienne's soiree, in the dress Leliana picked for Morrigan in another life. The years have been far kinder to them in some ways more than others ayyy... Morrigan and Leliana still kept orbiting one another, always there, always poking and prodding, because in some ways they are so very much alike really; a mother figure has used them in some way, and they have not escaped with all the pieces of themselves, and they are trying so hard to keep something dear to them safe. Morrigan didn't understand why she cared (but part of her did but when you've never had feelings for someone and you're closing in on forty then confusion is allowed) and there was always miscommunication. Navigating between Leliana who was (who might never have been) and the Nightingale and the Leliana that might be. She took her into the eluvian and they almost kissed. She found her in the dungeons mourning Tug and they did kiss. Leliana sent her away and Morrigan was hurt. They didn't speak at all until after the Western Approach. Morrigan was embarrassed, confused, she was sure she'd made a mistake or been rejected; Leliana was going to be the Nightingale, or Leliana did not want her and she wasn't sure which was worse. Then Leliana came back, came back from the Fade and kissed her, pressed her up against her desk and it was tender, and raw, and perfect and wonderful. And Morrigan will probably kill anyone that hurts her tbh.	shale {DRAGON AGE} Okay so thanks for not calling her Swamp Mother but ten years and you didn't come up with a new name? You're lucky her trolling is directed down other roads now Shale.
samouel gareth {DRAGON AGE} A former Circle mage met on an expedition to retrieve an elven artifact in the Hinterlands, easy enough to get along with she supposes, and not outright someone who offends her simply by existing. They spoke later in the gardens of the Blight and other things, before Sam approached her voicing an interest in becoming a shapeshifter, surprising, for an ex-Circle mage, but not unwelcome. Sam trained as a shapeshifter with her, choosing a dog as his first form.	korrin ataash {DRAGON AGE} A Vashoth mage councillor - not something she expected to meet, but again, the more varying opinions, the better. That Korrin cares for the rifters and has lived all her life as an apostate are things that Morrigan approves of. She greatly hopes she continually makes sure Vivienne doesn't easily get her way with her quaint little Circle.

sina dahlasanor {DRAGON AGE} A Dalish elf bearing a shard, she came to Morrigan's attention after she opened a rift within Skyhold not so very long (by which such things are measured) after an abomination rampaged. They discussed Sina's shard and what it might do, as well as elven magic, and Morrigan's research.	kain highwind {DRAGON AGE} One of the rifters she has met; this one she explained the Fade and magic to, as well as a few shard theories.
vivienne {DRAGON AGE} One of the very last to be trusted. Vivienne has an agenda and that agenda will always be to suit Vivienne, as well as what Vivienne stood for and what benefitted her. That she is involved with the mage council exposes it for what it truly is: a Circle by any other name.	benevenuta thevenet {DRAGON AGE} A member of the Mage Council met at the soiree, a Nevarran and a Mortalitasi; the one to watch very closely since she's the one she knows very little of. But she reacted differently to mention of Halamshiral than she thought she would, and that's good.

lara croft {TOMB RAIDER} One of Leliana's potential agents, a girl with a keen mind that she met in Skyhold. Lara has since let the Inquisition.	obi-wan kenobi {STAR WARS} A rifter she met within Skyhold, someone had been filling his head with nonsense about mages so obviously someone from the mage council that lives in fear of themselves. Stop telling the rifters things like that you sheep.
galadriel {LORD OF THE RINGS} The rifter elf that Cassandra locked up for reasons that probably make sense to Cassandra because Seekers can't really be too different to Templars and we know Templars have absolutely immaculate judgement at all times. They spoke a little, and Morrigan is quite interested in meeting elves from elsewhere though they are less crucial to her research goals.	dorian pavus {DRAGON AGE} Companion to the Herald and a man of Tevinter, she knows him more by reputation but they did meet at the soiree because scandalous apostates need to meet at parties to look fabulous and cause stirs wherever they go. Rumours of blood magic probably swirled in their wake from some inbred Orlesian.

josephine montilyet {DRAGON AGE} Blah blah diplomacy who even cares we all know Morrigan has probably had her fill of such things in Orlais and honestly the Landmseet was probably enough before that Morrigan doesn't even care really.	cassandra pentaghast {DRAGON AGE} Yeah sure you'd rather be fighting Darkspawn rather than go to the ball, do you know who you are standing talking to Cassandra? Like you do remember she was there fighting the Archdemon? But then you prefer to attract flies with dragonshit right?
aleron darton {DRAGON AGE} That awkward moment when you are perhaps more oblivious than Alistair Theirin like just let that sink in.	gwenaelle vauquelin {DRAGON AGE} At first Morrigan knew Gwenaelle's name through her father better than she knew the young lady herself, but in Skyhold, after Gwenaelle came to her office during her early explorations, a friendship has formed. Or a friendship and mentorship; Gwenaelle is blossoming away from Orlais, and Morrigan is glad of it for there is a very sharp mind that she is happy to see, someone truly taking initiative, someone who thinks, who can write well (she is so proud of that bulletin, that she got in there first and got it done, that it is out there in the world because words have such power and that it isn't some terrible trite nonsense) and it's nice to have someone she can drink wine and gossip with. Everyone should be alarmed honestly, but Morrigan does remember being made to be a thing she didn't wish to be when she was younger than this girl, and that finding her feet, becoming what she wishes to be and not being whatever the Game tries to make her? Well she will be better for it. And they would do well to be afraid of that.

ruby lucas {ONCE UPON A TIME} Joining her on the mission to rescue her eluvian from the Venatori and Red Templars, Morrigan and Ruby had time to speak where she learned certain upsetting things about Ruby that struck a painful chord with her. When will old women stop interfering with the lives of the young, harming them along the way? She also learned about Ruby being a werewolf, speaking of some Thedosian legends, as well as explaining her own nature. When Emma disappeared, she volunteered to go help in the search since she can easily cover ground in a variety of forms.	katniss everdeen {THE HUNGER GAMES} A young elfblooded woman who spoke with Morrigan regarding her desire for research assistants to aid her in her work for the Inquisition. They spoke of the find in the Hinterlands expedition, as well what Merrill and Katniss found in Emprise du Lion where Morrigan told her to make sure she had at least one copy, knowing how easily lost things are, as well as giving her a reminder not to show some things too openly.
sabine {DRAGON AGE} She assumes there's a person under all that hair but she's been wrong before.	cosima niehaus {ORPHAN BLACK} A rifter she met when she went to help rescue them when they arrived in the Exalted Plains

henry swan {ONCE UPON A TIME} A student of Adelaide's from the White Spire she met in Skyhold's library, he has a fascination with the Grey Wardens, and seems to have a great passion for telling the truth.
