My mother...tell me, do you find her silence odd in this time? Perhaps had the Herald lived she might have come as she did with the Hero, the Champion, yet she has not. I know her, Alistair, and here we all are now in Kirkwall. The shaman told me to go back and there are those who know what the Dalish clans do not. [Even for Morrigan this is quiet, and comes after she's gone to check who might be listening at the door. (Was there a time when she wasn't so paranoid? I have never attended a wedding, what is a mother meant to do at such an occasion?

Maybe once or twice as a child, but I don't care for weddings, much, and I've never paid them much mind—Thranduil, of course, is all for doing the thing properly. That's the point, I suppose, look at this good rifter, doing all the right things.
